On 31st march 2023 voestalpine High Performance Metals Italia Spa was awarded with the Metef International Innovation Award in the category “Company System Decarbonisation Process” with the following motivation:
“The Company represents in Italy the Swedish steel mill Uddeholm, which has systematically and structurally introduced a series of methodologies aimed at minimising water consumption, using energy mixes free from the use of fossil resources, exploiting recycled materials, and constantly reducing the environmental impact of internal transport. These actions are essential steps in a convincingly developed path of environmental sustainability with clear and ambitious goals for the coming years.”
